Barrington River Lodge is a rustic mudbrick and timber bunkhouse situated on the banks of the Barrington River, in the foothills of the Barrington Mountains, 3 ½ hours drive north of Sydney near the towns of Barrington and Gloucester. This is an ideal base for outdoor adventures such as canoe and kayak hire and tours, bushwalking etc in the Barrington Tops. Fun outdoor activities for Barrington Region.
The bunkhouse is ideally sited for groups, central to Barrington Tops Wilderness area and Gloucester Tops. Many groups have enjoyed the tranquil setting and natural attractions nearby. This area is an artists delight. In winter popular outdoor adventure activities are: exploring the Barrington and Gloucester Tops (occasional winter snowfalls), bushwalking, golf, relaxing with friends around an open fire, as well as canoeing, swimming, li-lowing in summer. The pristine water in the Barrington River flows from the Barrington Tops World Heritage Wilderness.
